Patients who require heart monitoring during the diagnostic phase of their hospital stay, as well as patients who have experienced a heart attack, heart failure, angina or another serious heart problem, are usually cared for in the medical center's Seventh Telemetry Unit. The patient's heart function can be monitored from the nurses' station at all times.
The unit's nurses provide patients with support and education about their conditions and treatment. They are also knowledgeable and experienced in handling medical emergencies.
