Occupational therapy services are designed to prevent disability and improve patient function following an illness or injury. This type of therapy allows patients to re-adapt to work or other daily activities and achieve maximum independence.
Services are provided to inpatients, outpatients and residents of the medical center's Transitional Care Center and Behavioral Health Unit and can be extended to patient homes. A physician referral is required.
